St John Event Health Services has provided every day personnel at events and venues across WA for over 114 years. The industry leader in the provision of health care at events and venues statewide, in 2016 we attended 3,402 events, treated 22,497 patients and partnered with 710 clients.
With events ranging from musical festivals, professional sporting events, community events, seated theatre events and emergency activations, our Event Health Services personnel are expertly trained to handle a large variety and volume of events. We also currently provide first aid services to a number of venues, including Domain Stadium, NIB Stadium, HBF Stadium, HBF Arena and Claremont Showgrounds.
Working with a wide range of clients, we understand each event and venue has unique challenges and varying risks associated with it. That is why we work closely with every client to ensure correct staffing and equipment requirements are made available to each event and venue by assessing the risk, advising on the medical requirements and providing an operational plan.
Our team of event health officers, medics, paramedics, doctors and nurses strive to deliver the best outcome for all patients who require medical aid at your event by undertaking continuous training so our clinical knowledge and skills are always of the highest standard.
But the training doesn’t finish here. All our personnel are trained in providing a professional level of customer service that will seamlessly integrate into your event or venue’s own customer service charter. Our team’s top priority is focusing on the patron’s experience at the venue, making sure they feel comfortable and safe at each event. To achieve this, we provide a dedicated venue coordinator to be the point of contact at each event.
With our own dedicated team of event health medical staff, fleet of vehicles and administration team, we also have the ability to draw on the extensive statewide resources of St John Ambulance at any time. With strong links to the Department of Health, WA Police, Department of Fire Emergency Services, State Emergency Services and Environmental Health, our on-site Event Health team minimise any risks by drawing on our community connections to safeguard your event.
