Give the gift of life this Christmas

Give the gift of life this Christmas

The State’s leading first aid provider is asking Western Australians to consider giving “the gift of life” this Christmas.

St John Ambulance Western Australia has just launched a Christmas catalogue and a brand new gift card which can be used to buy first aid kits or first aid courses.

St John Marketing and Communications Manager Arley Grey said St John had the perfect gifts to ensure people enjoy a safe and happy Christmas.

“There’s a boating first aid kit, an off-road 4WD kit and even one for your four-legged family members.  If you already have a St John first aid kit, consider booking a first aid course or buying a gift card for that special someone,” she said.

“First aid training really is the gift of life and we absolutely believe this, having provided this training to the WA community for the last 121 years.”

There are a variety of courses to choose from, ensuring there is something suitable for any person seeking professionally-run, accredited and non-accredited first aid training.

Items in the Christmas catalogue can be ordered online and there is free delivery in the metro area when you spend $20 or more.

In addition, the First Aid Services and Training call centre is now open until 6pm on weeknights to capture after hours first aid bookings.

The centre will take calls from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, as well as 9am to 1pm on Saturday. Call (08) 9334 1233 to book a first aid course.
